2nd BUDAPEST INTERNATIONAL ART SHOW

Up to eighty artists will be selected to exhibit their art at the Golden Duck Gallery in Budapest. ​After our first successful Budapest International Art Show, or artBIAS, just last year, TERAVARNA brings artists all over the world another exciting opportunity to exhibit at this fast-growing contemporary art fair. With their Grand Opening in June 2024, this exhibition brings artists the promise of their art being featured in the heart of downtown Budapest, by the banks of the River Danube and just a short walk from the iconic Hungarian Parliament Building.​Jump into this endeavor to integrate your art into the booming contemporary art scene in Europe. If selected, you'll have a unique opportunity to hone your skills in the picturesque heart of Europe, network with other artistic souls, and find yourself at home away from home in a place that sharpens your talent and appreciation of art, all while increasing your global exposure.​

Theme ​​The theme of the 2nd Budapest International Art Show is OPEN. Any and all subjects are welcome under this category, and all of our current themes also qualify under this. To maximize your chance of being selected by the jury for this art exhibition, please feel free to make any duplicate submissions from those themes as well. Artists are also given complete liberty to choose any technique of their choice, Both representational and abstract concepts, in any media, will be considered. Please note that you must be 18 years of age in order to participate in any of our events.​All types of visual arts will be considered, including but not limited to Painting & Mixed Media, Photography & Digital, and Sculpture & 3D Installation.

Awards & Prizes ​Winning artists from this open call will be invited to participate to show and sell their artworks at the 2nd Budapest Art Exhibition. There are no costs associated with the exhibition.​The 2nd Budapest International Art Show is a one-of-a-kind exhibition at the Golden Duck Gallery, in downtown Budapest, Hungary. Due to the high foot traffic of visitors during the early European summer months, this timeframe was especially chosen to maximize sales and exposure for our participant artists. More than taking part in the month-long exhibition, the artists will be promoted extensively in local news outlets, TV and media channels, and prizegiving event ceremonies.​All participating artists will be provided with Certificates of Recognition.
