Anfachen Award - IX Competition

Anfachen Award IX addresses a critical fracture point in democratic societies: privilege. Debates ignite, party programs clash, and social cohesion in free societies is threatened by the unequal distribution of opportunities, power, and resources. The Anfachen Award IX offers a platform to explore personal and collective experiences with privilege and to ask: What do privileges mean in everyday life, in political decisions, and in a global context? The submission deadline is April 16, 2025.As in previous editions, a distinguished jury will select 25 winning posters from the submis-sions. These large-format winning posters will be displayed on bustling streets and squares in Hamburg starting June 17, 2025. Additionally, a touring exhibition through partnership collabo-rations is planned. Once again, Klaus Staeck, one of Germany's most renowned political poster artists, will act as patron of Anfachen Award IX.
