Blinds Direct's Design Challenge 2022

Manufacturer of quality home furnishings Blinds Direct has announced the return of its design challenge 2022. Following 2021’s successful competition, this year’s challenge invites students across the UK to explore “visions of the future”, a theme that has ignited humanity's greatest art and philosophy. Undergraduate students are invited to once again design a stylish, printed fabric in a particular theme. Organizer is asking students to create a unique and striking pattern design, based on the concept of how our descendants might live, and what the world (or worlds) may look like. This year's challenge focuses on the future, what it might look like, and how it can be explored using interior design as the medium. Few topics have captured our imaginations better than the future. From Nostradamus to Stephen Spielberg, thousands of people have imagined what the future might look like. For the BD Design Challenge 2022, we're asking entrants to channel this inquisitiveness and unleash their imaginations to create a striking and innovative design that expresses a sense of wonder and excitement. Whether the design is inspired by how we might move, live or interact in the future, the challenge's judges will look for creativity, flawless execution and individuality rolled into one design that will also be appealing to our customers.
