Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild - "Inspiration" Juried Exhibit

Inspiration is " a sudden brilliant, creative, or timely idea."  As artists, it is inspiration that spurs us on… to create, to grow, to evolve. Inspiration can come from anywhere, such as a song, a memory, movies or books, travelling, or meeting new people. It stimulates our senses, arouses our emotions, and ignites our creative fire.

However, inspiration can also strike after something unpleasant occurs, especially when we are challenged or experience a setback.  Inspiration can motivate us to try something new, run away to an unfamiliar place, or return to our roots. Good and bad, big and small, we are inspired every day.  And that is what our Juried Exhibit, Inspiration, is here to celebrate:  you, your art, and your inspiration!
