Colors of Humanity Art Gallery - "Blue" 2023

The art that is created today is how this time period will be viewed tomorrow. We want to make a difference in the lives of artists as well as a positive change in the world.

We are an online art gallery that can offer different benefits than a physical art gallery. Such as international exposure, works will be archived and able to be viewed over and over giving you constant exposure, building traffic to your website, no cost in transporting artwork, no risk of your work being damaged, and we are commission free!

Theme- "BLUE" This color is symbolic for many different things and emotions. It is most commonly associated with harmony, faithfulness, confidence, distance, infinity, the imagination, cold, and sometimes with sadness. It can be expressed many ways and we look forward to seeing your interpretation.

Pay It Forward- We will be donating 10% of all entry fees from this show to Natural High. Natural High is a national 501(c)3 nonprofit organization inspiring youth to discover, amplify and pursue their natural high so they have a reason to say no to drugs and alcohol. Eligibility- All artists 18 and over may enter.

Judging Criteria- Originality, interpretation, quality, demonstration of ability, and usage of medium

Juror- Janelle Cogan

Entry Fee- $20 for 1 or 2 pieces (You may enter more than once if you have additional works.)

Awards- A cash prize will be given to the Best of Show winner. Additionally, the Best of Show winner will be featured. His or her artwork will be on the cover of the show and it will be largely displayed with an article about them and their work. Other winners will be featured and have similar recognition. All accepted works will be displayed with the artist name, title of work, and a link back to their website, or email address if they do not have a website.

Sales- All sales are conducted solely between the artist and the buyer. Colors of Humanity Art Gallery does not handle any part of the sale or collect any commission.

Image Requirements-

- Image should not exceed 2MB.

- Image should be in jpeg format.

- Image should not contain any frame, mat, or watermark.

- Image should be labeled as LastName-FirstName-TitleofArt.jpeg

- Image should be clear and in focus, this represents your work and it will be displayed / judged the same way it is received.

Important Dates:

Deadline to submit work - November 15, 2023

Winners will be notified- on or before November 22, 2023

Opening date for show - December 1, 2023

Show closes and is archived - December 30, 2023
