Colors of Humanity Art Gallery - "Skies" 2024

The art that is created today is how this time period will be viewed tomorrow. We want to make a difference in the lives of artists as well as a positive change in the world.

We are an online art gallery that can offer different benefits than a physical art gallery. We offer international exposure; works will be archived and can be viewed over and over, giving you constant exposure and building traffic to your website; there is no cost in transporting artwork and no risk of your work being damaged; and we are a commission free gallery!

Theme- "Skies" The sky can tell us so much. You can look towards it for hope in seeing rainbows, in fear during storms, for comfort by the moon and stars, and find pictures written in the clouds.

Pay It Forward- We will be donating 10% of all entry fees from this show to SERRV International. SERRV is a nonprofit organization with a mission to eradicate poverty wherever it resides by providing opportunity and support to artisans and farmers worldwide. Eligibility- All artists 18 and over may enter.

Judging Criteria- Originality, interpretation, quality, demonstration of ability, and usage of medium

Juror- Janelle Cogan

Entry Fee- $20 for 1 or 2 pieces (You may enter more than once if you have additional works.)

Awards- Cash prize will be given to the Best of Show winner. Additionally, the "Best of Show" winner will be featured with his or her artwork on the cover of the show and it will be largely displayed with an article about them and their work. Other winners will be featured and have similar recognition. All accepted works will be displayed with the artist name, title of work, and a link back to their website, or email address if they do not have a website.

Sales- All sales are conducted solely between the artist and the buyer. Colors of Humanity Art Gallery does not handle any part of the sale or collect any commission.

Image Requirements-

- Image should not exceed 2MB.

- Image should be in jpeg format.

- Image should not contain any frame, mat, or watermark.

- Image should be labeled as LastName-FirstName-TitleofArt.jpeg

- Image should be clear and in focus, this represents your work and it will be displayed / judged the same way it is received.

Important Dates:

Deadline to submit work- February 15, 2024

Winners will be notified- on or before February 22, 2024

Opening date for show - March 1, 2024

Show closes and is archived - March 31, 2024
