FREE ENTRY / 11th Schwarzenberg Art Prize 2025

National and international artists can submit a competition entry in the form of a sculpture that deals with the theme of "Wood and Stone" to the city of Schwarzenberg by March 15th, 2025. An eight-member expert jury will then select the works for the art exhibition in Schwarzenberg Castle and in the city area based on the anonymized application documents.

By awarding the 11th Schwarzenberg Art Prize art-figura, the city of Schwarzenberg wants to promote, integrate and motivate artists. The art prize is intended to draw attention to the art of sculpture and reflect its preservation in new forms of expression. The use of wood, stone and metal, which are closely linked to the Ore Mountains and their development, is intended to reference regional traditions.
