FREE ENTRY / BcmA - MindAIness Out of Mind: Presence, Flesh, and the Posthuman Condition

We invite performance artists, technologists, and collectives to apply to this open call. MindAIness is an independent performance art event at the intersection of Mindfulness and AI (as the wordplay imply). Now in its fourth edition, it operates as a critical intervention, not a showcase for technological spectacle, but a rigorous inquiry into what it means to inhabit a body in an algorithmically saturated world, and a part of our brain leaves the body soma and merges with an algorithmic net.

The core questions of the project are: 

What happens when intelligence moves outside the body? When memory, thought, and decision-making are offloaded to machines, what remains of the human experience? What does it feel like when algorithms shape our choices, predict our needs, or know us better than we know ourselves? And most importantly: can the body itself become a site of resistance?
