Big Blue Dot Contemporary Ceramics is a non profit organization based in Greece.

Contemporary ceramics is a form of art that is constantly developing and evolving, presenting an upward trend worldwide and in Greece. In addition, Greece is increasingly recognized as a cultural hub in South-Eastern Europe due to its geographical location, the significant number of visitors, and the strong ‘brand’ of its cultural heritage.

The organization of a Contemporary Ceramics Biennale in Greece reflects the need to support Greek ceramics, create occasions for new aesthetic trends, promote research, and strengthen communication between creators and the public.

The Big Blue Dot Contemporary Ceramics Biennale 2024 is an international exhibition of contemporary ceramic art that will take place in Santorini, Greece. It aims to bring together twenty artists from Greece and abroad to explore the theme inspired by the Akrotiri Archaeological site.
