FREE ENTRY / ESMAD - The John Goto Prize

The John Goto Prize – ESMAD, P. PORTO is aimed at higher education students in the visu-al arts (photography, video, cinema, digital arts, multimedia, design, fine arts), with innova-tive approaches that use photography and/or other areas mentioned above, as a means of reflection on contemporaneity.

John Goto’s association with the teaching staff and the students of IPP dates back to 2001. He was supportive of colleagues and their research projects and he was tremendously popular when engaging with groups of students. It is only fitting, therefore, that we remember John Goto, a man described by The Telegraph as ‘a genius’.
