We are looking for artworks that explore the concept of Face as a category.

Whether an icon, a martyr, a loved one or an enemy, to give something a face means to give it a name or an identity and also a story, a corporality and emotions, and furthermore to acknowledge them. Whether as a place of encounter between two or more individuals or as a symbol that guides revolutions, a face can have a revealing power in our human relationship, be these of love, conflict, spirituality, ideology, or others.

The last few years have brought drastic changes in our daily lives, some sudden some long coming. Political and social changes are bringing us apart and together in different ways. We are looking for artworks that explore these changes through the personal or political filter of the Face as that,…
