Textiles are constantly evolving. Engineers, artists, designers and craftspeople are constantly developing, experimenting with and testing new materials, or redeveloping age-old natural materials.

With the aim of creating reasonable and sustainable products, textiles are reinventing themselves, between a return to their roots and innovation, between organic materials and technical fabrics, between flexible and rigid textiles – many materials are creating today’s textiles.

This theme allows the public to discover the infinite applications of materials in textiles: natural or organic fibres, synthetic fibres, as well as fibres made of earth, glass, iron, etc., thus offering a panorama of contemporary textile creation.Entries will be judged on how well the theme has been taken into account.
