About the event
According to the statutes of the non-profit foundation, the Jacqueline Diffring Foundation awards a prize to an artist in the field of sculpture. It is aimed at young, not yet established international artists and was awarded for the first time in 2008. The prize is endowed with 5,000 euros.
The selection criteria are based on a content and/or formal connection to the work of the founder Jacqueline Diffring.The winners are selected based on suggestions from the jury.Applications can be submitted in the form of emails, portfolios or CDs/DVDs. No liability is assumed for the documents sent and no returns are accepted.The award ceremony is public, takes place at a cultural location and is accompanied by an online and print publication. The laudation is usually given by the artistic director of the foundation or a person appointed by him.
