Anger (Wut) is a deeply human emotion. It has the potential to destroy or create – a dual nature that makes it a special force. It is a signal, a wake-up call that something is wrong – be it internal or external. If it is consciously perceived and directed, anger can be a driving force: it mobilizes energy, sharpens focus and sets processes of change in motion. Many social movements, creative works or personal transformations have their origins in anger that has been channeled and used constructively. The truly special nature of anger lies in the balance between destruction and creation. It is a catalyst that, when controlled, tears down the old to create space for the new.
