FREE ENTRY / Neptune State Prize for Water 2024

The Neptun State Prize for Water is the Austrian environmental and innovation prize for sustainable water projects. It was founded in 1999 as the Neptun Water Prize to highlight the importance of water as a resource - especially in the areas of life, environment, economy, science, art and society. Since 2023, the Neptun Water Prize has been awarded as a state prize.The Neptun State Prize for Water is sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management (BML), the Austrian Association for the Gas and Water Sector (ÖVGW) and the Austrian Water and Waste Management Association (ÖWAV). Partners are Kommunalkredit Public Consulting, City of Vienna - Wiener Wasser and VERBUND. The regional category is supported by the Austrian federal states.
