FREE ENTRY /Nimue Innovation Studios - Art Contest for Medieval-Themed Trading Card Game

We’re running another Round Table Art Contest!! We are very close to our print deadline for our Primis edition of Round Table. We used a lot of placeholder artwork in our pre-release cards but now is the time to get some artwork from real people on the cards! There are about 254 cards in the first printing but we only have about 80 cards with art from real people – and the rest is up for grabs! There are 3 levels of cash prizes:

1. First Place – 2 winners – $100 each, 10 shares of stock, featured on our website

2. Second Place – 2 winners – $50, 5 shares of stock

3. Third Place – 4 winners – $25, 5 shares of stock

What to Submit

Art pieces selected as winners will be featured on cards in a brand-new card game, Round Table! We are not looking for any particular style of art for the cards – be as creative as you want! We are looking for ALL kinds of artwork in these categories, not a specific genre or style. We want to open this up as much as possible, so abstract, modern, watercolor, digital, anime/manga, Raphaelite… Anything and everything – as long as it is your original work! The space on the card will be a 1:1 ratio so make sure whatever you submit can fit those dimensions. We are looking for a wide variety of art – from Knights to Mounts, from Quests to Redirects… You are limited only by your imagination. Who’s Running This Contest?

Nimue Innovation Studios is a small, Colorado-based company bringing this game to life. Round Table is a trading card game where players take the role of a leader of Britain vying to be crowned Supreme Monarch. They recruit knights, grant them titles and equipment, and send them on quests to try to bring regions of Britain under their sway. Whoever earns the most renown from their regions wins the game!

Any artist who has their art selected for use will receive a share of stock in the company and a percentage of profits. You don’t have to win the art contest to participate! The rights to the art remain the property of the artist, with the piece licensed for use in the Round Table card game. See this link for more information about how we compensate artists.
