FREE ENTRY / Onboards Biennale 2025

is a contemporary art exhibition on billboards. In July 2025, 14th till 28th, works by established and emerging artists will be showcased across Antwerp.

RELATIONSHIPS rooted in relatio – “to bring back” or “reconnect” – are fundamental to creating meaning. They link people, objects, and ideas, restoring connections and shaping our understanding of the world. The Onboards Biennale proposes the theme RELATIONSHIPS to artists, inviting them to explore social, environmental, cultural, and conceptual bonds, transforming public billboards into spaces of exchange between artists, audiences, and the urban environment.

Public Participation and Awards: 

A QR code on each billboard will link visitors to additional content, including audio recordings about the artworks.

The biennale will outline walk and bike routes, and as a closure event organize  a final-day bike tour attended by a number of participating artists

Public engagement will be encouraged through a People’s Choice Award, where the most popular artworks will be recognized…
