About the event
The marehalm ART award is aimed at artists who have found their own artistic position, which is surprising and has previously received too little attention. These artists, who meet the requirements listed under the Conditions of Participation , are eligible to apply for the art award. There are no restrictions on applicants' educational background or age; however, the artist's own artistic position, as mentioned above, must be clearly evident. The areas eligible for the art award are broad: painting, graphic art, sculpture, textile art, goldsmithing, silversmithing, ceramics, photography, or other artistic disciplines are welcome.
