FREE ENTRY / Royal Drawing School - Online Drawing Development Year

The Online Drawing Development Year is a three-term remote learning course, featuring a structured series of drawing courses, lectures, mentoring sessions and one-to-one tutorials with practising artists that will complement and develop your studio practice. Applications are now open.

This course is designed for arts graduates and anyone with a developing studio practice who thinks they will benefit from live online drawing tuition and a structured critical dialogue with tutors, mentors, and peers over three terms. Devised to be flexible, it is for students who need a part-time course that will fit around their life commitments such as jobs and caring responsibilities, or have specific access needs.

Students will curate their own taught programme from our online drawing courses. Including up to three online daytime drawing classes per week every term or equivalent, and six Core online evening classes exclusively for Online Drawing Development Year students. Students will also have the opportunity for two days of in-person Core classes at our Shoreditch studios. Alumni of the course receive an ongoing 50% discount on online courses and can apply to our ongoing Dumfries House Artist Residency programme.
