FREE ENTRY / The 12th China International Poster Biennial

Found in 2003 on the shores of the West Lake in Hangzhou, China, the China International Poster Biennial (CIPB) represents the national most prestigious poster design competition and has secured its position among the most coveted graphic design events. So far, the event has received tens of thousands of poster designs from over 40 countries and regions.

As a medium that goes beyond language, a poster may mirror contemporary concepts, aesthetic standards, and ideological trends, and record what the designer thinks about society, culture and the environment. A variety of posters bear witness to the development of and constitute the visual history of the era when they occurred. As time flies, we are ready to welcome more diverse, more open, more revolutionary poster designs.
