Make Art, Compete In the Pokémon TCG Illustration Contest 2024 Pokémon!

The Pokémon TCG Illustration Contest 2024 Is officially underway! Artists from Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand can submit artwork that embodles the theme "Magical Pokémon Moments."

Since the Pokémon Trading Card Game debuted as Japan's first full-fledged trading card game, It has continued to be one of the most popular and best-selling trading card games in the world and has been shipped In 14 languages and 89 countries and reglons to date. The Pokémon TCG Is celebrating 27 years this year, alongside the 27th anniversary of the beloved Pokémon brand.

Artists can feature the following Pokémon in their card: Charizard, Pikachu, Eevee, Ferallgatr, Flygon, Absol, Bldoof, Melmetal, Amped Form Toxtricity, or Koraldon. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top artists in a handful of categories, and each of the top winning cards will be made into a promo card.

There is one set of prizes for all Entrants from all territories eligible to enter into this Contest.

• Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner from any territory will receive a cash value of $5,000 USD AND the Winner’s illustration the opportunity for Submission to be made into a Promo Card. Total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of Grand Prize is $5,000 USD (¥550,000 or £3,800).
• Best Standard Card illustration: One (1) winner for best standard card illustration division will receive a cash value of $3,000 USD AND the winner for best standard card illustration the opportunity for Submission to be made into a Promo Card. Total ARV of best standard card illustration Prize is $3,000 USD (¥330,000 or £2,280).
• Best ex Card illustration: One (1) winner for best ex card illustration division will receive a cash value of $3,000 USD AND the winner for best ex card illustration the opportunity for Submission to be made into a Promo Card. Total ARV of best ex card illustration Prize is $3,000 USD (¥330,000 or £2,280).
• First Place Runner Up: Six (6) First Place Runner Ups from any territory will receive a cash value of $1,000 USD. Total ARV of First Place Runner Up Prize is $6,000 USD (¥660,000 or £4,680).
• Judge’s Award: Fifteen (15) Judges’ Award Winners from any territory will receive a cash value of $500 USD. Total ARV of Judge’s Award Prize is $7,500 USD (¥825,000 or £5,850).
