Nexus Artspace - "Echoes of the Past" Open Call

Nexus Art space, in collaboration with i.e. Art Projects Online Art Foundation, is thrilled to announce an international virtual artist residency with the theme “Echoes of the Past.” We invite artists from diverse disciplines and mediums to explore the complex and multifaceted nature of memory. This residency encourages creative investigations into how past experiences continue to resonate in the present, shaping emotions, identities and cultures.

Participants are challenged to interpret memory as a fluid, dynamic influence and transform it into meaningful artworks that bridge personal and collective histories. Through this theme, the residency becomes a space for reflection, creation and storytelling. During this unique program, we’ll host several virtual meetings, with some taking place in the Metaverse—a space offering extraordinary possibilities for artists.
