About the event

NorthWind Fine Arts, a premier gallery located in the heart of the beautiful Adirondack Region of New York State, is pleased to announce this year’s juried show.  We welcome submissions from living artists of original creative works from all genres and mediums.

Selected works will be featured on our website and shared with our extensive social media audience.  First, second and third place winners will receive generous cash prizes.

The gallery is located at 85 Main Street in Saranac Lake, New York, just 9 miles from Lake Placid.  Visit us at www.northwindfineartsgallery.com

ELIGIBILITY

Open to all visual art/media except Audio/Video

ENTRY PROCEDURE

You may enter your images through OnlineJuriedShows.com by logging in on this page and clicking on the “enter this show” button.  Help photographing your work and properly sizing your images can be found here. For best results, make sure your image is 72 dpi and 1920 pixels on the longest side. Images should be in JPEG format or sRGB color space and under 4 MB. For help with your entries, contact onlinejuriedshows@gmail.com or 888-666-1351.

ENTRY FEE

A non-refundable entry fee of $35 for up to two pieces of art, $5 each for up to 3 additional pieces.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION

All entries must be received by OnlineJuriedShows.com by October 16, 2023.

Meet Our Juror, Carol Marie Vossler

Carol Marie is a professional artist and art educator.  She is a certified art integration specialist and has taught the studio arts at Plattsburgh State University, North Country Community College and at BluSeed Studios for over 30 years. She earned degrees in forestry from Paul Smith’s College, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Plattsburgh State University and a Master of Fine Arts from Syracuse University. She is the Director Emeritus & Founder of BluSeed Studios located in Saranac Lake, NY and has curated several national & international exhibitions that encourage cross-cultural collaboration. She continues to present  authentic STEAM & Project Based Learning (PBL) workshops for educators using paper-making, printmaking, ceramics/sculpture and book arts.

AWARDS

Juror will select first, second and third place winners who will be awarded cash prizes.

SALES

Artist contact information will be listed on our website for all accepted pieces.  Interested persons looking to purchase your work will contact the artists directly.  NorthWind Fine Arts waives any responsibility for sales generated in this manner and will not collect and submit sales tax.  NorthWind Fine Arts generously declines to collect any commission on online sales handled by the artist.  100% of sales goes to the artist.

A list of works selected for participation in this year’s show will be posted at

www.northwindfineartsgallery.com by October 31, 2023.  Images of selected pieces will be on display on this website November 1, 2023 to November 30, 2023, with winning pieces showcased.
