About the event
In honor of Black Pioneers in Kitsap County, the City of Bremerton’s Art Commission is accepting submissions for its Open-Air Gallery. At least four 4’H x 4’W vinyl panels will be added on the Washington Ave retaining wall.
Artists are asked to consider individuals that helped shape the cultural history of Bremerton. Theme information is included on page 2 of the Call to Artists, linked below.
The selected artist(s) will receive an award (stipend) of $300 for each work, recognition on the public art panel, and the City of Bremerton promotional materials. Artist do not fabricate or install the final art on the wall. Artist are invited to submit up to three files for consideration.
