Zone - Open Call for collective new book

Although we are photography based, our new call is open worldwide to all types of visual arts (photography, painting, illustration, sculpture, design etc.) with no restrictions in terms of age, approach… You can send images from a specific project but note that they will still be considered individually.

THEME

There is no theme, but if you’re new to ZONE it sure would be usefull to check our previous online and print publications to have a taste of our character. We’re basically open to anything along the lines of our MANIFESTO.

More than ‘the powerful stand alone’, we’re interested in what a group of images can reveal when they find each other in a certain way. This is why we like starting from the broadest group of images in order to arrive to another layer of meaning of the whole by carefully listening to them.

WINNERS

Best submissions will be published on ZONE’s social media throughout & after the call even if they don’t make it in the book. Artists selected for the book will also have the chance to buy a copy at 50% off.

SUBMISSIONS

1) The submission fee is 10€ for 15 images. You will be directed to a page where you can upload your submission after having paid the fee. You can make as many submissions as you wish.

GUIDELINES

1) Name your files as: Name_Lastname_Number.jpg

2) Image resolution: No more than 2MB per image

3) MAX 15 images

We will ask for the high-res versions in case your work gets selected for publications.

ATTENTION: Step 1 and Step 2 are important for archiving the contacts of each author. The specifications are mandatory under penalty of exclusion.
