The Almenara Art Prize is an international online painting competition that brings together artists from across the globe, offering a substantial range of awards and recognition. This prestigious prize includes more than €30,000 in cash awards, over €35,000 worth of art materials and products, as well as additional prizes designed to support and promote artistic practice.

The competition actively encourages broad international participation and welcomes submissions across a wide spectrum of artistic genres, styles, techniques, and materials. Artists working in hyperrealism, photorealism, contemporary realism, surrealism, imaginative realism, impressionism, and plein air painting are all invited to apply. The open and inclusive nature of the prize aims to reflect the diversity and richness of contemporary painting.

Participants may submit work to a variety of categories, including Figurative, Portrait, Drawing, Landscape and Plein Air Painting, Still Life, Wildlife and Animal, Religious and Spiritual themes, Fantastic Realism, and From Life (for graduated students), as well as a dedicated Young category for emerging artists.
