The Almenara Art Prize stands as a global platform for painters, offering an international online competition designed to celebrate artistic excellence and diversity. With a prize fund exceeding €30,000 in cash, along with more than €35,000 in art materials and additional awards, it provides both recognition and tangible support for artists committed to their craft.

This competition invites painters from all backgrounds and traditions to participate, encouraging a wide range of artistic languages and interpretations. Whether working in hyperrealism, photorealism, contemporary realism, surrealism, imaginative realism, impressionism, or plein air painting, artists are welcomed to present their unique vision. The openness to different media and surfaces further reflects the competition’s commitment to inclusivity and creative freedom.

Artists can submit their work across multiple categories, including Figurative, Portrait, Drawing, Landscape and Plein Air Painting, Still Life, Wildlife and Animal, Religious and Spiritual themes, and Fantastic Realism. In addition, the competition offers dedicated sections for graduate artists working from life and a Young category that highlights the voices of the next generation.
