Get ready for a bold, boundary-pushing edition of Bosch Parade, driven by the fearless artistic direction of curator David Bade. This year’s guiding idea—“Community meets artist meets Defects”—invites an exciting new form of collective creation. Bade is calling on artists to step out of their studios and onto the streets, engaging directly with communities, clubs, and groups to create artworks inspired by the concept of “defects.” These flaws might be personal quirks, social issues, physical imperfections, or anything a community wishes to explore and reinterpret through art.
Communities in ’s-Hertogenbosch are just as integral to this vision. Whether you’re a sports club, neighborhood circle, hobby group, social collective, or any other kind of gathering, Bosch Parade wants to hear from you. If your group has a flaw or issue you’d like to illuminate creatively—and you want an artist to collaborate with you in shaping an artwork for the parade—this open call is your chance to participate. Bosch Parade is specifically seeking proposals that are open, adaptable, and capable of evolving over time. The focus is on the dynamic exchange between artist and community, where the creative process remains fluid and responsive to whatever unfolds along the way.
