Liminal spaces are not just abstract concepts; they are vivid, tangible experiences that shape our daily lives. They can be seen in the gaps between one moment and the next, felt in the silence between two words, and imagined in the mythical stories that have persisted through the ages, like those of Persephone or Charon. These transitional phases are often present in the physical spaces we occupy, as well as in the larger framework of time, memory, and personal growth. They are the spaces between what was and what is to come, the moments that connect one chapter of our lives to the next. Yet, these in-between spaces are frequently ignored, either because we are too busy to notice or because we prefer to move quickly through life without reflecting on their significance. In our fifth call for submissions, we invite you to slow down and examine these fleeting yet essential moments of transition. We ask you to pause in the limbo of everyday life and to explore how these liminal experiences connect us to the past, guide us through the present, and lead us toward the future.
