After a successful inaugural year, the FluxusMuseum Prize for Experimental Video is now returning for its second edition. This year, the prize will distribute €45,000 among participants, with part of the funding allocated to support the initial development of projects, and the rest to be awarded as prizes at the exhibition’s conclusion.

From the pool of applicants, 20-40 proposals will be selected, with each of the chosen artists receiving €600 to help bring their vision to life. These completed works will be showcased at our gallery from June to September 2025, as well as featured on our online platforms. The remaining cash prizes will be presented towards the end of the exhibition period. For inspiration, you can view last year’s award winners here and here.

FluxusMuseum invites artists from all fields to submit proposals, whether you’re a visual artist, dancer, performance artist, filmmaker, animator, writer, actor, musician, or more. We eagerly welcome all submissions.

While we encourage submissions in the experimental spirit of Fluxus, your work is not required to reference Fluxus directly. Our focus in selecting proposals is on experimental, unconventional works—those that challenge typical narrative structures and exhibit originality, striking visual styles, and a fresh approach to artistic expression.
