Following the success of its first year, the FluxusMuseum Prize for Experimental Video is now entering its second edition. The prize for this year totals €45,000, which will be distributed over the course of the competition. A portion of this sum will be allocated to support the early stages of selected projects, while the remaining funds will be awarded as prizes at the end of the exhibition.

Up to 40 proposals will be chosen from the initial pool of applicants, and each selected artist will receive €600 to aid in the execution of their project. These works will then be displayed in the FluxusMuseum gallery from June to September 2025, as well as featured online. The final distribution of cash prizes will be announced towards the close of the exhibition. You can check out last year’s award winners here and here.

FluxusMuseum is open to all forms of artistic expression. Whether you're a visual artist, dancer, performance artist, filmmaker, animator, writer, musician, actor, or something else entirely, we invite you to submit your experimental proposals.

Our selection process emphasizes work that embraces the experimental and the unexpected. While proposals need not directly reference Fluxus, we seek projects that challenge traditional narrative forms and present innovative, visually compelling work that pushes the boundaries of artistic expression.
