The FluxusMuseum Prize for Experimental Video, after a highly successful debut, is now in its second year. For 2025, the prize will award €45,000 to selected participants, with part of the funds dedicated to helping artists develop their proposals at the outset and the remainder granted as prizes at the exhibition’s conclusion.
Between 20 to 40 proposals will be chosen, with each of the selected artists receiving €600 to support their creative process. The finished works will be presented at the FluxusMuseum gallery from June to September 2025, and will also be available on our online platforms. The final cash prizes will be distributed at the end of the exhibition period. You can explore last year’s winning projects here and here.
FluxusMuseum welcomes proposals from all artistic disciplines—whether you're a visual artist, performance artist, dancer, animator, filmmaker, writer, actor, musician, or more, we look forward to considering your experimental work.
While we encourage submissions that embrace the experimental ethos of Fluxus, your project does not need to directly reference Fluxus itself. Our selection process focuses on works that break from conventional norms, offering originality, unique visual approaches, and an innovative artistic spirit.
