The Anne and Robert Bloch Foundation for the Promotion of Cultural Creation in the Jura (FARB) is pleased to announce the upcoming awarding of a development grant in the summer of 2025. This financial support is intended to facilitate the professional growth and artistic advancement of a promising young artist from the Jura region. By offering this grant, the Foundation seeks to encourage emerging talent and support innovative projects that contribute to the cultural richness of the region.

The amount of the grant will be determined based on the scale and ambition of the proposed development project. However, the maximum amount that may be awarded is capped at 20,000 Swiss francs. This funding is meant to assist artists in undertaking specific initiatives aimed at enhancing their artistic skills, expanding their professional network, or producing new and original work.

Eligible applicants include all young artists under the age of 35 who hold a CFC (Federal Certificate of Competence) or an equivalent qualification. The grant is open to individuals working in a range of cultural disciplines, including:

• Visual arts (painting, sculpture, photography, film, and video)

• Performing arts (theatre, choreography, dance, etc.)

• Literary arts (Belles-Lettres)

• Music

Applicants must be Swiss nationals from the Republic and Canton of Jura, or must have lived in the region for a minimum of three years to qualify. Those interested in applying should submit a complete application dossier, which includes a curriculum vitae (CV), certified copies of their CFC or equivalent qualifications, and a detailed and costed description of the proposed improvement project.
