The honoree selected for this year’s program will be awarded an unrestricted grant of $10,000, providing them with the freedom to pursue their practice without limitation on how the funds are applied. In addition, the recipient will be invited to participate in a series of remote studio visits with every member of our distinguished jury cohort, offering invaluable feedback and professional dialogue. To further highlight their work, an interview with the honoree will be published through the Foundwork Dialogues program, ensuring broader visibility within the contemporary art community. Alongside the primary award, three additional artists will be recognized and named to the 2025 Short List.

Artists who wish to be considered for this opportunity must create and maintain an active profile on the Foundwork platform. Each profile should feature a minimum of six artworks as well as a written artist statement. These requirements must remain in place for the duration of the selection window, which runs from 5:00 pm PT on September 26, 2025, through 5:00 pm PT on December 31, 2025.
