Asia’s premier sustainable light festival is set to return for its 11th edition next year, bringing a dazzling array of light art installations to the iconic Marina Bay area and its surrounding precincts. This much-anticipated event continues to be a platform for creative minds, showcasing works that blend art, technology, and sustainability in innovative and impactful ways. As in previous editions, the festival will engage local and international artists to explore themes related to sustainable living—encompassing environmental, economic, and cultural dimensions—and to consider how light art can inspire meaningful conversations around the choices we make, the lifestyles we lead, and the strength of our communities.

For 2025, the curatorial theme of i Light Singapore is To Gather, an invitation for artists to create light installations that draw upon the rich symbolism of the color red. As the lifeblood of human existence, red is a universal symbol of vitality, energy, and connection. It represents the ties that bind us across cultures, beliefs, and experiences, calling us to recognize our shared humanity and the unity found in our diversity.
