The Fumetto International Comix Festival in Lucerne, Switzerland, is presently accepting entries for the 2024 International Comic Competition. The theme for this year's competition is "Fleisch," a German word that translates to "flesh" or "meat" in English. "Fleisch" encompasses a wide spectrum of meanings, from the human body to ethical consumption amidst climate crises, as well as international culinary delights. Fumetto is on the lookout for the most chilling, beautiful, bizarre, and humorous stories related to meat and flesh.

If you're interested in participating, here are the submission guidelines to adhere to:

• You may submit only one comic, presented in visual storytelling form.

• Your comic should span a maximum of 4 pages.

• Accepted comic formats include A4 or A3, with a preference for landscape orientation.
