The Japan Graphic Designers Association (JAGDA) is pleased to announce the 2025 JAGDA International Student Poster Award, inviting talented students of graphic design from around the globe to participate. Now in its [20th] edition (adjust as needed), this prestigious competition continues JAGDA’s long-standing commitment to nurturing the next generation of visual communicators and celebrating the very best in student poster work.
Established over two decades ago, the JAGDA International Student Poster Award was conceived to identify and honor exceptional young designers, offering them a platform to showcase their creativity on an international stage. By bringing together the freshest voices in poster design, JAGDA seeks to further the evolution of graphic design practice, encouraging innovation, technical mastery, and the thoughtful integration of image and text.
A poster—part art, part message—enables designers to blend bold graphics with compelling copy, crafting an immediate and resonant form of visual communication. Whether addressing social issues, public events, environmental concerns, or abstract concepts, the winning works demonstrate the uncanny ability of poster art to reach across cultural and linguistic boundaries, moving hearts and minds with a single glance.
For anyone who feels their fear of judgment is holding them back, the LSAS is an eye-opening tool. It can validate your feelings and show you that what you're experiencing is a recognized condition, not a personal failing.
