With origins dating back to Loewe’s establishment as a collective craft workshop in 1846, this annual competition emphasizes the cultural relevance of craftsmanship and its evolving significance in contemporary society. Each year, the prize draws submissions from exceptionally talented artisans worldwide, celebrating a diverse array of skills and creative expressions across various craft disciplines. The winner will be awarded 50,000 euros, and both the shortlisted and winning entries will be showcased in an exhibition and catalogue in Paris during the spring of 2024.
