The Luminarts Visual Arts Fellowship offers a generous award of $10,000 to each selected artist. This prestigious fellowship recognizes outstanding achievements in various forms of visual art, including drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, and moving images. The fellowship is aimed at supporting artists whose work demonstrates exceptional creativity and skill in these areas.

In addition to the main fellowship award, finalists in the Visual Arts category will be eligible for a $300 honorable mention prize, which acknowledges their commendable work.

Artists who are integrating moving images or video elements into their artwork are encouraged to apply, as the fellowship is open to work that includes these dynamic forms. Applicants may submit short video clips that are part of their broader installation, in conjunction with images of the full work. However, it is important to note that the Luminarts Visual Arts Fellowship program does not accept applications for standalone short films at this time.
