The Luminarts Visual Arts Fellowship is an esteemed program that provides $10,000 in financial support to each artist selected for the award. This fellowship is designed to celebrate excellence across a wide array of visual art disciplines, including drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, and moving images. It is awarded to artists whose work showcases exceptional talent, vision, and innovation in these mediums.

Finalists in the Visual Arts Fellowship competition will also be recognized with a $300 honorable mention prize. This award serves to honor those whose work stands out, though they may not ultimately win the fellowship.

For those artists working with moving images or video as part of their projects, the fellowship welcomes submissions that include both short video clips and visual documentation of the complete installation. Artists who incorporate video into their work are encouraged to apply and share their work in this way. However, please note that the fellowship does not currently accept applications for short films that are not part of a larger installation or mixed-media project.
