Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) Art 2026 Festival warmly invites artists from all backgrounds, disciplines, and cultures to engage with the evocative theme:“Civilizations – A Journey Through Time and Culture.”

At the heart of this year’s festival lies a deep desire to explore the complex and beautiful tapestry of human civilization. From the earliest artistic expressions carved into stone to the ever-evolving digital art of today, civilizations have always used creativity to interpret their world, their identities, and their dreams. The 2026 edition of RAK Art Festival challenges artists to reflect on the interwoven narratives of humanity—on how cultures rise, converge, influence, and transform one another.

What fragments of past civilizations linger in our present forms of expression? What wisdom carries through the centuries, and what elements are lost, reborn, or reimagined? As artists, how do we bear witness to this ongoing journey and give it shape in our work?

This festival is a celebration of contrasts and commonalities, of ancient wisdom meeting futuristic imagination, of storytelling, innovation, and artistic evolution. We welcome your contributions—whether rooted in tradition, propelled by technology, or shaped by your own personal heritage.
