The Homiens Art Prize is proud to stand among the most generous awards in the contemporary visual arts landscape, distributing over $12,000 USD annually to artists around the globe. Uniquely operated by an independent art gallery, the prize maintains a strict no-sponsorship policy in order to uphold the artistic integrity and curatorial independence of the selection process. Open to artists of all nationalities, disciplines, and mediums, The Homiens Art Prize aims to foster a vibrant, inclusive, and global community of creatives.

Selected artists are celebrated widely across our digital media platforms. Their work is showcased in a professionally curated online exhibition, where it is viewed by an international audience of art collectors, curators, and fellow practitioners. For this season, three artists will be awarded winning positions and invited to participate in our prestigious seasonal exhibition series, alongside twelve additional finalists.

Each winning artist receives an unrestricted cash award of $1,000 USD, with the opportunity to take part in an in-depth interview published across our platforms. Winners may also request a personalized letter of recommendation from our esteemed panel of jurors—supporting them in future residencies, grants, or exhibitions.

Beyond our top honorees, up to 200 artists will be recognized as "Highly Commended" and receive extensive visibility on our website, which draws over 100,000 annual visitors, and through our expansive mailing list. Every single entrant to The Homiens Art Prize is eligible for exhibition consideration and will receive a personalized certificate of participation—valid as a demonstration of professional activity within the art world.
