The Homiens Art Prize Spring 2026 - Call for Art & Photography

The Homiens Art Prize is a globally recognized, merit-based award designed to support and promote artists at all stages of their careers. Whether you are an emerging talent seeking a strong entry point into the professional art world or an established artist aiming to expand your visibility and credibility, the prize offers a strategic and prestigious platform for advancement.

Open to all artists worldwide, the competition accepts submissions in every medium and discipline, including painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, printmaking, installation, and audiovisual work. There are no restrictions on the date of creation, theme, or size of submitted artworks, allowing for maximum flexibility and inclusivity across artistic practices.

Each round, the Homiens Art Prize recognizes excellence through the selection of three winners, twelve finalists, and up to two hundred highly commended artists. Selected participants are featured in professionally curated quarterly exhibitions, providing direct exposure to a global audience of art professionals, collectors, and enthusiasts.

As a premier international initiative awarding more than $12,000 USD annually in unrestricted funding, the prize operates on a non-acquisitive basis, ensuring that artists maintain full ownership of their work. In addition to financial support, the program is designed to deliver tangible career benefits by connecting participants with influential stakeholders across the art market, including public institutions, curators, and private buyers.

The Homiens Art Prize also offers a suite of promotional opportunities aimed at increasing artist visibility and engagement. These include the Meet the Artists feature, the Promoted Artists program, and The Art of Art: Interviews, an editorial series dedicated to showcasing the ideas and practices of contemporary artists. Together, these initiatives help position participating artists within a broader international context, supporting sustained professional growth and recognition.
